Wow, I cannot believe we are now just two days away from THE ULTIMATE DOCTOR ART AUCTION 2012. It’s been a long time coming and I cannot wait to get the auctions online.
Today’s countdown is an artwork I really like, from a character who herself confesses had a minimal role in the show. Eva Alexander portayed a nurse in Let’s Kill Hitler one of The Sisters of the Infinite Schism, to whom The Doctor took River Song to heal following her sacrifice to save him.
Eva, who also appeared as a waitress in the early scenes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has drawn this rather awesome picture of The Doctor, which I love for it’s simplistic accuracy. Created in black crayon (I think, that’s what it looks like) on white 8×5 card, it’s titled, signed and has her name printed beneath as well in black pen.
The auction is drawing closer, and before long silence will fall. Not before a MASSIVE frenzy of bids though!
In the meantime, I’ve decided not to put any more items up for auction until the DW auction is done and dusted, so the Matthew Lewis photo and loads of other items will appear this weekend. In the meantime, there are 118 items up for grabs RIGHT HERE so please do CHECK THEM OUT. Thanks.
