With one day to go until The Ultimate Doctor Who Art Auction Round 2 I was out today focusing on football and sorting out some new goalie gloves for auction. An early afternoon visit to 
Motherwell saw two new ‘keepers added to the auction pot. Both Jamie MacDonald and Mark Ridgers were members of the Scottish Cup winning team last season, and both have been capped by Scotland at Under21 level.
Both were also happy to pose for photos after signing gloves – thanks to both of you 😀
Also signing items were other members of the 2012 Scottish Cup Winning team including Darren Barr who kindly signed a few images from that game and posed holding them. There’s two photos there, one of the Scottish Cup in Maroon and White ribbons and the other of Darren celebrating opening the scoring that day.
One standout item of the day was the addition of Rod Stewart to the Xmas Card Auction, a standout addition to the auction stock ahead of listing starting next Saturday. It’s a beauty of a signature on a big Xmas card and is one sure to gather attention when it goes online, in the meantime, here’s a sneak peak.
Rod didn’t sign many items on his departure (sorry Ian Gordon, I was trying to get a personalised item for you) so I was glad to get one from him to help raise more ££ 😀
