Living the (West) Life!

It’s been one heck of a week for fundraising, but first of all the number one meet of the week was the man to the left Stiliyan Petrov.  The man is an inspiration, and it was a pleasure to meet him.

“Stan” was among many of the players to sign my programmes from the Celtic XI v Petrov XI charity match, including big names such as Martin O’Neill, Gareth Barry,

Shay Given as well as actors Stevie Graham and Warren Brown.  Across several days, loads of items were signed, and I lost track of the amount of Xmas Cards I added to the pot for the auction which is now only a few months away 🙂  There were loads of surprises over

the days as well including meeting my first ever Spice Girl – Mel C who was happy to sign a couple of Xmas Cards and Alfie Boe who did the same.

I was working through the weekend on a Celtic shirt which I was trying to get multi signed, here’s Celtic legend Lubomir Moravcik posing with me and the shirt this morning after it was completed.  The names in place include Lubo, Chris DSCN2224Sutton, Morten Wieghorst, Davie Moyes, Neil Lennon and loads more.  It’s a cracking shirt and it’s already up for auction HERE along with loads more items 😀

Who else was kicking around you ask?  Westlife’s Nicky Byrne was there, he didn’t stop for many folk due to time constraints, so this ain’t too bad, I don’t think… especially as he was kind enough to sign an Xmas

Card.  John Bishop was there, as was John Terry and loads loads more.  I’ve got more to add from the days before, but I think that covers it for now 🙂

In the meantime…
