Regular readers will remember my excitement recently when Dr Who stunt coordinator Abbi Collins was kind enough to send me some of the scripts from episodes she had worked on. Today I had the chance to add a signature to one of them, with Keith Temple (writer of Planet of the Ood) putting the third signature on the cover of the script. There’s Keith (and his camera shy sidekick) today in the glamorous surroundings of Glasgow Central!
Keith was also kind enough to sign some copies of individual pages from the script, marking pivotal moments in the episode, including the moment Ood Sigma told the Doctor “I think your song must end, soon” and his words that DoctorDonna will never be forgotten. This is the final page of the episode.
It goes without saying that I am delighted that I was able to get Keith to sign for the auction, and I’d like to thank Charlie Ross for setting up the meeting, and Keith himself of course for being happy to sign for the auction. There’s loads more to come with The Greatest Dr Who Auction in the Galaxy, and with seven months until the auction takes place, who knows what other goodies will be added into the mix!
